About the Author

Terrot Reaveley Glover (1869–1943) was a classical scholar and historian. A fellow and lecturer at St. John’s College, Cambridge, he is the author of Jesus in the Experience of Men, Studies in Virgil, and The Christian Tradition and Its Verification. He also contributed articles to the 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica.
