César Samaniego studied illustration at the Llotja Art School in Barcelona a few years ago. He has published numerous children's books, textbooks, and also works as a background painter for animated TV series. He enjoys the small pleasures of everyday life, such as getting lost in the woods, playing the guitar, and reading a good book. He lives in Canet de Mar, a small coastal town in Catalonia, with his wife, his daughter, four cats, and a slightly crazy dog--his great little universe.
